Spend a day surrounded by nature discovering the traditional craft of wood carving with ScarecrowWoodCrafts.

This hands-on workshop is an invitation to slow down, work with your hands and discover wood from a different perspective — from learning about the material itself to shaping a small object entirely by hand.

Guided step by step, participants will be introduced to the basics of traditional wood carving, including Sloyd and flat-plane carving techniques, while learning how to safely use carving tools and work with wood.

Designed for beginners, no previous experience is required. The workshop is an opportunity to learn, create and experience the satisfaction of making something by hand in the natural surroundings of Madonnella.

Materials and tools will be provided.

A day bringing together nature, craftsmanship and conviviality, in collaboration with ScarecrowWoodCrafts.

Open to the public.
