stay at Madonnella

Giulio and I (Mariangela) had been dreaming and imagining our life at Madonnella Agricola long before we actually found it, and when they opportunity finally came to bring our idea to life we knew exactly what we wanted. We had always appreciated the Nordic approach of simplicity, natural materials, access to nature, quality and cleanliness. The architecture of Madonnella is totally unique for the area, and its aesthetic is based on the many places we have liked throughout our lives.

The bedrooms are all individual in style. What they have in common is that they are bright, dreamy, full of unexpected details and entirely built with natural materials such as wood, clay, lime. We were very specific in choosing each of our materials, to make sure the rooms reflected our values and our design ethos. We also filled them with things we like, from vintage objects from our own family heritage to Giulio’s paintings.

Every room is fully equipped with air-con, and free wi-fi. We deliberately decided to give TVs a miss, though.

During the long Roman summer, which starts in April and sometimes stretches as far as November, our beautiful natural swimming pool hidden amongst cork oak trees is available to our guests for hours of fun and peace.
